Kurnool: Public Accounts Committee (PAC) Chairman and Dhone MLA Buggana Rajendranatha Reddy criticised the state government for failing to provide drinking water to the people especially drought-hit Kurnool district. The PAC Chairman, Kurnool MP Butta Renuka, MLAs Gouru Charitha Reddy and Y Isaiah opened the city party office at TJ complex here on Saturday. Speaking on the occasion, Buggana said that entire Rayalaseema region is facing shortage of drinking water. The ruling TDP has no concern on public issues despite YRSCP staging several agitations, he said.

The YSRCP MLA alleged that Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and his cabinet colleagues are interested in multiplying their assets than addressing the problems of people. He stated that the people would teach a befitting lesson at the right time, he said. YSRCP state general secretary BY Ramaiah, party district convener Gouru Venkat Reddy, Kurnool assembly in-charge Hafeez Khan and others participated in the office opening ceremony.
