Will introduce unemployment allowance soon, says AP CM

​Nallajerla (West Godavari): Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu announced that the government is actively considering unemployment allowance and it will be introduced soon.

Addressing a public meeting at Nallajerla village in West Godavari district on Saturday, the Chief Minister informed that they were preparing policy for unemployment allowance and it would be introduced soon.

However, he maintained that the unemployed youth should make efforts to increase their earnings besides getting allowance from the government.

“We are taking up programmes that will fetch Rs 10,000 to Rs 25,000 to each poor family. I want to eradicate the poverty and will introduce a slew of programmes.

However, the people should have conscious on how to raise their financial position. This is up to them to take steps to stabilise their income,” he stated.

Announcing corrupt-free administration, the Chief Minister warned that no official or the peoples’ representatives would be tolerated if they indulge in any corrupt practices.

“I want to end the corruption in the administration or in the politics. Everyone should work hard to earn money. It is very wrong to earn money by corrupt means,” he sought to advice.

Warning that stringent action would be taken against corrupt, Naidu said, “The suspended employees are wrong, if they think that they will be reinstated within one or two years.

I am warning those officials that the procedures of earlier regimes will not continue. I will not tolerate corruption.
