Foundation laid for foot-over-bridge
Minister for Railways Suresh Prabhu laid the foundation stone for foot-over-bridge at BC Colony, Vizianagaram, through video-conference on Sunday.The government has decided to construct foot-over-bridge and road-under-bridge between Gotlam and Vizinagaram for which the foundation stone laying ceremony was held here on Sunday.
Vizianagaram: Minister for Railways Suresh Prabhu laid the foundation stone for foot-over-bridge at BC Colony, Vizianagaram, through video-conference on Sunday.The government has decided to construct foot-over-bridge and road-under-bridge between Gotlam and Vizinagaram for which the foundation stone laying ceremony was held here on Sunday. Union Minister for Civil Aviation P Ashok Gajapathi Raju and Minister for Mines and Geology R V Sujay Krishna Ranga Rao were present on the occasion.
In view of increasing traffic, railways has come forward in association with the state government to construct foot-over-bridge at BC Colony at an estimated cost of Rs 1.80 crore. MLA M Geetha, Zilla Parishad Chairperson Dr Swathi Rani and others were present.
