Minister fulfils his vow:Satyanarayana Swamy temple gets facelift
inister for Endowments P Manikyala Rao, along with Road and Buildings Minister Ch Ayyanna Patrudu, performed ‘Kalasa Prathista’ at the renovated Sri Rama Sametha Satyanarayana Swamy temple at Uttaravahini in Narsipatnam of the district on Sunday.
Visakhapatnam: Minister for Endowments P Manikyala Rao, along with Road and Buildings Minister Ch Ayyanna Patrudu, performed ‘Kalasa Prathista’ at the renovated Sri Rama Sametha Satyanarayana Swamy temple at Uttaravahini in Narsipatnam of the district on Sunday.Later, speaking at a meeting, the Minister felt that people experience peace and spirituality only when they visit temples and complimented Ayyanna Patrudu for renovating the temple with facilities like a check-dam, bathing ghats at Uttaravahini, Nakshatra Vanam at the temple and a huge kalyana mandapam.

Ayyanna Patrudu said that his long cherished desire of renovating the dilapidated temple was now fulfilled and thanked the Endowments Minister, officials, Annavaram Devastanam Committee chairman I V Rohit and executive officer Nageswara Rao for extending a financial help of Rs 50 lakh for the renovation of the temple.
About the future development of the temple, he said that an AC kalyana mandapam to accommodate 1,000 persons, maha mandapam for organising mass marriages will be built and a prayer hall on the premises of old temple. He also thanked Collector Pravin Kumar for sanctioning Rs 1.5 crore for constructing the check-dam. HRD Minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao and Anakapalli MP Muttamsetti Srinivasa Rao also spoke.
