Navigation-3 system for joint replacement surgeries
For the first time in Vijayawada, Navigation 3 (Nav-3) system was introduced for performing joint and hip replacement surgeries said the Time Hospital Joint Care Centre (THJCC) surgeon Dr. Kiran Reddy in Vijayawada on Monday. The Nav-3 system was inaugurated by world famous Joint and Hip replacement surgeon from the United States Dr. William J Jason.
Vijayawada: For the first time in Vijayawada, Navigation 3 (Nav-3) system was introduced for performing joint and hip replacement surgeries said the Time Hospital Joint Care Centre (THJCC) surgeon Dr. Kiran Reddy in Vijayawada on Monday. The Nav-3 system was inaugurated by world famous Joint and Hip replacement surgeon from the United States Dr. William J Jason.
After the inauguration of Nav-3 at THJCC, a knowledge exchange programme was held between Dr. Kiran Reddy and Dr. William Jason in a hotel on Monday. Speaking at the knowledge exchange programme Dr William explained about Nav-3 system. He said that Nav-3 system was used in the United States to perform Joint and Hip replacement surgeries. It is a great moment that THJCC had introduced Nav-3 system. He said by using the most advanced computer assisted joint and hip replacement Nav-3 system the surgery would take less time and will be perfect without a degree of error, and stressed that it is called zero error.
