The new Sarva Darshanam complex meant for free darshan pilgrims which is in the offing will get ready by this August, asserted TTD EO Dr D Sambasiva Rao. With the summer season pilgrim influx commenced on the hill town, EO inspected the queue lines inside the temple, laddu counters, Mullakunta car parking area, Divya Darshanam and Sarva Darshanam complexes on Sunday.

With the summer season pilgrim influx commenced on the hill town, EO inspected the queue lines inside the temple, laddu counters, Mullakunta car parking area, Divya Darshanam and Sarva Darshanam complexes on Sunday.
Needless to say that Tirumala is witnessing heavy rush of pilgrims for the last three days coupled with the weekend and summer holidays. On Friday, 72,337 devotees had the darshan of Lord Venkateswara while 38,306 had tonsures. On Saturday, 90115 devotees had the darshan and more than 50 thousand had tonsures, whereas on Sunday up to 6 pm, 66675 pilgrims had darshan and it is taking more than 12 hours to have the darshan of Sri Varu.
In view of this, EO made extensive inspections in Tirumala on Sunday and instructed the officials to take several steps to minimise the inconvenience to the waiting pilgrims. He went to Sri Vari Potu and observed all steps involved in laddu preparation. At laddu counters complex he enquired with the pilgrims about their problems and gave suggestions to the TTD staff. The EO visited the luggage counters, shoe keeping centers etc. to see that there are no lapses in the services being extended to the devotees.
He talked to the devotees at Ranganayaka Madapam inside the temple to get their feedback on the services extended by the TTD. Later speaking to media persons he said, Wi the Rs.300 Special Entry Darshan and Divya Darshan complexes yielding positive results from respective category pilgrims, TTD decided to construct similar complex for Sarva Darshan pilgrims which includes the facilities of laddu tokens, luggage deposition etc. in the best possible way in next three months.TTD Chief Engineer Chandra Sekhar Reddy, Superintending Engineer Sudhakar Rao, EE Prasad, Health Officer Dr Sermista were also present.
