Sri Venkateswara University ready for NAAC inspection, says V-C
Sri Venkateswara University (SVU) Vice-Chancellor (V-C) A Damodaram said on Tuesday that the SVU is ready for National Assessment Accreditation Council (NAAC) inspection. Speaking to the media in his chamber, the V-C expressed optimism of getting A++ grade for the SVU this time. He stated that the SVU got B+ and A+ grades in the past.

Speaking to the media in his chamber, the V-C expressed optimism of getting A++ grade for the SVU this time. He stated that the SVU got B+ and A+ grades in the past.

The V-C informed the media that a 9-member NAAC committee will inspect the SVU from May 4 to 6. He gave credit to university officials and faculty for working hard for the last 3 months to get better grade from the NAAC. “Recently, university had appointed deans for several departments for better functioning and the SVU secured top position in the South India from TIMES Higher Education World University Rankings and 42nd rank in HRD ministry rankings,” the V-C added.
SVU Rector Macha Bhaskar, Registrar Devarajula Naidu, EC member Guruprasad, deans from different departments and officials were present.
