The severely injured passenger, identified as Giriprasad of Tadipatri, Anantapur district is battling for life in Kurnool Government Hospital.

The victim boarded the train in Tirupati to reach his native place Tadipatri. The TTE objected that his ticket was valid up to Yerraguntla station only and pushed the passenger off the train near Kondapuram station at 2 O’ clock in the morning. The injured Giriprasad who fell on the railway track was found by the gang men who were checking the track.

He was immediately rushed to the hospital and later shifted to Kurnool Government Hospital for better treatment. The hospital staff informed his parents about the incident. Doctors said that the victim sustained severe injuries in his head and chest and a bone inside his eye was broken.

Giriprasad was a student of Intermediate first year. He went to Tirupati along with his friends. This unfortunate incident took place while he was returning to his native place. He informed his parents just before boarding the train.

However his parents received the information about the accident by the hospital staff. On the other hand, doubts are arising as his friends were found missing after the incident.
