Tirupati: Shiv Sena Party demanded the government to take up the reconstruction of Sri Venkateswara Swamy temple locally known as Thimmappa Aalayam in Thondavada village near Tirupati. Speaking to the media, Shiv Sena district convener T Omkar said that temple which was constructed in 1542 was flourishing with devotees visiting it but later for one reason or other it got ruined. He said Shiv Sena will launch a campaign to press the government take up rebuilding of the ruined temple.
