Ayyannapatrudu steals the show

Visakhapatnam: Roads and Buildings Minister Ch Ayyanna Patrudu unlike earlier meetings held in the city stole the show at the inaugural function of the party regional office building here on Saturday. Telugu Yuvatha volunteers wearing yellow T-shirts with the photographs of Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and Ayyanna Patrudu atop and that of Lokesh and Ch Vijay (son of Ayyanna) at the bottom with a slogan of Jai Lokesh moved around the meeting hall as a special attraction.

Jubilant Minister Ayyanna Patrudu, too, was seen controlling the surging crowds. Following the request of party Urban district president Vasupalli Ganesh Kumar to address the meeting, initially Minister Ayyanna Patrudu was reluctant. But later, he accepted to address the meeting when Lokesh forced him. He claimed that nobody in the party is as luckiest as him as in the past three decades he had the opportunity of serving as Minister in the NTR’s Cabinet, considered to be of first generation, Chandrababu Naidu’s Cabinet ( second generation) and now in the third generation Nara Lokesh Babu amid a loud applause.

“All most all first generation leaders are self-disciplined soldiers with commitment with the foundation laid by the party founder NTR which is now being continued by party National President N Chandrababu Naidu,” he pointed out. He hoped that the party would be further strengthened under the leadership of Nara Lokesh. However, he did not mention the names of other first generation leaders sharing the dais with him.

HRD Minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao, who mostly steals the show of all meetings, including that of Chief Minister, and the main architect of party regional office building-NTR Bhavan Dr M V V S Murthi, listened humorous speech with rapt attention,. Other first generation leaders who were also present on the dais include K Kala Venkata Rao, Dr M V V S Murthi, P Chalapathi Rao, RSDP Appala Narasimha Raju, Reddi Satyanarayana and Sanapala Seetaramanjaneyulu.
