Visakhapatnam: Sensing the disappointment among TDP senior leaders who were working for the party since inception in 1983, party national general Secretary and IT minister Nara Lokesh informed that the nominated posts would be filled in north coastal Andhra in a month.While addressing the party activists and leaders after inaugurating the four-storeyed district party office built at a cost of Rs six crore here on Saturday, the minister informed that village, mandal and district committees must also be formed before the party Mahanadu.

With regard to the selection of candidates, he said the aspirants must get 60 per cent approval from the party activists and 40 per cent from the public over phone for all the committees. This is a unique and transparent selection method of party National President N Chandrababu Naidu who alerts the public and activists in each mandal over phone whether the particular candidate aspiring for party post is accessible to people.

Stating that the conduct of three-day party Mahanadu is not an ordinary issue, he called upon the leaders and activists to work hard for the success of the event which was being held here after a gap of 15 years and many from Andaman and Nicobar islands too will be attending.

The 34 year-old Lokesh who inaugurated the building on his 34th day of assuming charge as Minister, said that similar party office is also coming up in East Godavari district under the supervision of Deputy Chief Minister N Chinarajappa and is likely to be opened on August 15.Explaining about the aspirations of Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, the minister said every district must have a state-of-the-art party office building.

“As an IT minister, I assure the youth that one lakh job opportunities will be provided in the IT sector and five lakh jobs in industrial sector in the coming two years,” he added. Alleging that the Leader of Opposition Y S Jaganmohan Reddy is provoking people in the name of caste, creed and religion, he asked the public to be more alert and vigilant about such persons. Local Ministers, MLAs and MLCs were also present.
