Endowments minister Pydikondala Manikyala Rao said that Godavari water will be supplied to upland area villages and other villages in Tadepalligudem constituency by next summer. The minister, along with Narsapur MP Gokaraju Gangaraju, participated in various inauguration and foundation laying programmes on Sunday in various villages of Tadepalligudem constituency.

The minister, along with Narsapur MP Gokaraju Gangaraju, participated in various inauguration and foundation laying programmes on Sunday in various villages of Tadepalligudem constituency.

Speaking at Military Madhavaram village, the minister said that additional funds of Rs 15 crore had been sanctioned by government to supply Godavari water through the pipeline in the constituency. He said that a defence training centre would be established in the village and they were searching for the suitable two acres land for the purpose. He said that each family in the village had sent a person to serve the nation in the army and therefore the village was called ‘Military Madhavaram’. Thus, there is a need for establishing a training centre to prepare youth to get jobs in the army and the government is ready to establish it, he added.
The villagers made representations to the minister to construct a bridge between Madhavaram-Tadimalla villages for which the minister assured to sanction funds. He also assured to sanction funds to develop the Anjaneya Swamy temple in Madhavaram village. The minister directed the officials to control the iron wheel tractors which are damaging the roads.
Earlier, Manikyala Rao laid the foundation stone for Tadepalligudem-Apparaopeta, Appraopeta-Korumamidi road construction works along with MP Gokaraju Gangaraju. He inaugurated the Madhvaram-Kamsalipalem, Kunchanapalli-Madhavaram roads. Narspur MP Gangaraju, Nidadavole municipal chairman Bobba Krishna Murthy, R&B executive engineer S Srinivas, mandal tahsildar Pasam Nagamani, BJP secretary Kanchumarthi Nageswara Rao, Pothula Annavaram and others participated in the programme.
