Dual murders leave no clue, motive a mystery

Kurnool: The dual murders of Induru Prabhakar Reddy and his brother-in-law Srinivasulu Reddy shook the entire Govindinne Palle village. The deceased Prabhakar Reddy who was a close aid of Gangula Prabhakar Reddy was known to be the former President of Mandal Parishad (MPP). Prabhakar Reddy was hacked to death by some unknown assailants while having an evening stroll with his brother-in-law Srinivasulu Reddy. The motive behind the killing of Prabhakar Reddy has become a great mystery to all.

Induru Prabhakar Reddy was said to have a clean history with no rivalry in the village. His father Induru Narayana Reddy was murdered by the followers of Bhuma Nagi Reddy, 40 years ago. He was a child by the time his father was hacked to death. Prabhakar Reddy, however, left it to divine retribution, instead of seeking revenge.With this attitude of Prabhakar Redddy, the villagers of Govindine Palle developed a soft corner for him and supported his nomination for Mandal Parishad President. With the powers conferred to him, Prabhakar Reddy was said to have maintained a flawless character among all sects.

With his services to the people Prabhakar Reddy had earned a good name and his fame spread gradually. Apart from little distractions with fellow leaders, he was not known to have maintained enmity or rivalry with anyone in the entire onstituency, it is said.But, sources revealed that without his knowledge a grudge was being nurtured against him by his family members, who could not digest Prabhakar Reddy being adored by all sects of people in the village. The sources suspected his family members hand might be behind eliminating Prabhakar Reddy.

Another source said that, for creating terror among the people of Allagadda, Bhuma’s followers might have involved in the crime. However, ahead of by-elections to Nandyal constituency the family would not dare to take such steps and moreover Prabhakar Reddy had no rivalry since years with Bhuma family is another doubt arising out of his murder. Whatever the rivalry the Bhuma family has maintained it is with Gangula Prabhakar Reddy. Was Induru Prabhakar Reddy baited being a close aid of Gangula is another big question? suspected the source.

A note left by the banned organisation Praja Sakthi associated with CPI-ML is also annoying the police as well as public. Prabhakar Reddy was said to have had small disputes in regard with rythu coolies and that might be a reason but could not suspected, stated the Superintendent of Police, Ake Ravi Krishna.Basing on the note, it may not be confirmed, the banned organisation’s hand might be behind the killing. To mislead the investigation someone might have planned, but there are several doubts arising out of the dual murders. The actual facts would come to limelight after a thorough investigation. Allagadda Sub Divisional Officer (SDPO), Eshwar Reddy has been engaged to probe the case on all angles and in no time the case would be cracked, he assured.

Gangula Prabhakar Reddy broke into tears when he saw his aid in a motion less state at Nandyal General Hospital and warned with dire consequences that he won’t spare them until they are hacked to death. Silpa Mohan Reddy too visited the hospital and extended condolences to the bereaved family members. Gowru Venkata Reddy demanded immediate apprehending of the culprits.
