Tirumala: The TTD Executive Officer Anil Kumar Singhal on Sunday had a whirl wind inspection covering all the prominent places in Tirumala, the abode of Lord Venkateswara. The EO along with Tirupati JEO and Tirumala In-charge JEO Pola Bhaskar visited Vaikuntham Queue Complex, Rs.300 Seeghra Darshanam Complex, foot path queue lines, VQC Dispensary, Access card Re-entry point, VQC Kitchen in Tirumala. The summer vacation coupled with week end holidays on Saturday and Sunday saw heavy rush of pilgrims in Tirumala.

Singhal also interacted with the pilgrims eliciting their views on the arrangements being made by TTD to cope with the influx of pilgrims, particularly with regard to darshan, accommodation, food arrangements and laddus. The EO also interacted with Srivari Seva volunteers who are posted at various places in Tirumala to serve the pilgrims.

Later AK Singhal who took charge as TTD EO only on Saturday, along with Superintendent Engineer II Ramachandra Reddy inspected the site where the construction works for Sarva Darshanam complex is underway.Special Officer Annaprasadam Chenchu Lakshmi and Catering Officer Shastry explained the special arrangements for providing coffee, milk and food items to the pilgrims waiting for darshan and also in select place on the hills keeping in view the rush.
