One month after of gruesome incident in Ananda Aqua Processing unit in Nallamvarithota of Mogaltur mandal, police arrested the group director Ramesh Varma, who was in-charge of the unit.It may be recalled that on March 30, five workers of the processing unit at Nallamvarithota died of asphyxiation in the effluents sump. Eluru: One month after of gruesome incident in Ananda Aqua Processing unit in Nallamvarithota of Mogaltur mandal, police arrested the group director Ramesh Varma, who was in-charge of the unit.It may be recalled that on March 30, five workers of the processing unit at Nallamvarithota died of asphyxiation in the effluents sump. The officials at that time announced that the deaths were occurred due to ammonia and other gases leakage only. The forensic report, which was received on Friday, clearly stated that the deaths were caused by ammonia and hydrogen sulphide leak only. After hectic efforts, the police arrested Rudraraju Ananda Ramesh Varma, according to Narsapuram DSP G Poornachandra Rao. He said that the director was arrested under section 304-A of IPC. However, it is a bailable case and the director may get bail, he added.
