John David MBP XI team emerge victorius

John David MBP XI team registered an excellent win against Friends team in Krishna District Cricket Association (KDCA) B Division league for Devineni Venkata Ramana and Praneetha memorial trophy at Siddhartha Medical College (SMC) in the city on Monday. The John David MBP XI team won the match over Friends team by 10 wickets.

Friends team won the toss and elected to bat first and the team was all out for 36 runs in 11.2 overs. Friends team batsman Mahesh scored 17 runs in 19 balls. MBP bowlers Srinivas and Rambabu took four wickets each. Later, John David MBP team reached target in 3.3 over without losing a wicket and opener Suresh scored 24 runs in 11 balls and helped his team win the match.

In the second match Motors XI team won the match by seven wickets against Srushti XI. Motors eleven team won the toss and invited Srushti team to bat and they scored 67 in 14.1 overs. Motors bowler Leela took four wickets for four runs. Later, Motors XI team reached its target 68 runs for loss of three wickets in 12.4 overs. Team batsman Venu helped team win by scoring 35 (n.o) in 31 balls.

At Indira Gandhi Municipal Corpration (IGMC) stadium, the first match was won by Sree Vidya Warriors against Super Gaints XI by five wickets. In the second match Sudha Physic cc won the match against Capital cc by 42 runs.
