Vizag Airport gets new director as G Prakash Reddy

G Prakash Reddy assumed charge as the new director of Visakhapatnam International Airport on Monday. The post has been upgraded to general manager rank. Visakhapatnam: G Prakash Reddy assumed charge as the new director of Visakhapatnam International Airport on Monday. The post has been upgraded to general manager rank. Prior to his new assignment, he had served as director of Coimbatore Airport from May 2015 onwards. Prakash Reddy replaces Vinod Kumar Sharma, who was the director here from May 2015. Prakash Reddy, an electrical engineer by profession, joined the Airport Authority of India (AAI) in 1990. Reddy has vast experience in airport development projects at Gaya, Bhopal, Vizag and Chandigarh airports across the country. He was also the project in-charge of Chandigarh International Airport, Mohali, before he became director of Coimbatore Airport.
