Steel market showing improvement: CMD of RINL
Chairman and Managing Director of RINL P Madhusudhan said the steel market is showing signs of improvement and the consumption of steel is growing due to the boost given to the infrastructure, railway, national highway projects by the Central government.
Visakhapatnam: Chairman and Managing Director of RINL P Madhusudhan said the steel market is showing signs of improvement and the consumption of steel is growing due to the boost given to the infrastructure, railway, national highway projects by the Central government.
He made this observation while inaugurating the newly constructed Steel Executive Association Auditorium on SEA Bhavan premises in Ukkungagaram on Thursday.Addressing a gathering, Madhusudan stated that there is need to improve the productivity and increase the volume of operations since RINL is ramping up and stabilising the production from the new units and added that the current financial year would be a challenging year for RINL in improving its bottom-line.
“We have faced serious challenges during the last two years and SEA should play a major role in improving the productivity and work together to achieve the success,” he said. Later, SEA felicitated Madhusudan and other Directors of RINL on the occasion.
PC Mohapatra, Director (Projects), D N Rao, Director (Operations), P Raychauadhury, Director (Commercial) and KC Das, Director (Personnel) participated in the inaugural function.Y Garg, President of SEA, in his welcome address thanked the management for their continuous support to the SEA initiatives. P Satyanarayana, General Secretary, SEA, explained the initiatives and achievements of SEA on the occasion.KVR Reddy, treasurer, executive members of SEA, union leaders, representatives of unions, SC&ST Association and a large number of employees were present.
