Kurnool: Deputy Chief Minister K E Krishna Murthy said that he would serve the Telugu Desam Party till his last breath. He reiterated these words during the launch of mini-mahanadu (party meet) after unveiling statues of NT Rama Rao and K E Madanna in Dhone on Thursday.

The NTR statue was installed at Industrial Training Institute (ITI) and KE Madanna’s statue was installed at Flyover Bridge. Speaking on the occasion, the minister said that he had never betrayed TDP and to this date he was extending loyal services to the party. It is the only party which is providing flawless governance to the people and people were also expressing their gratitude for the benefits they had obtained from the government, he stated.

Development could be seen at every nook and corner in the district, he said. Cement roads were laid; individual latrines were constructed and many more welfare schemes had been extended to every beneficiary, the minister noted.“After the bifurcation of Telugu speaking states, we were thrown out without a capital and a revenue deficit of Rs 16,000 crore. Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu without losing courage has been striving for the development of newly- formed state,” he added.

Krishnamurthy also predicted that Opposition leader Y S Jaganmonhan Reddy would sure to be sent to jail soon in illegal investment case. He said Jagan had approached Prime Minister Narendra Modi and extended his party’s support in the President election in order to escape from those cases.
