He expected the officials to change their mindset and increase transparency in the daily duties, with the introduction of watchdog.The Zilla Parishad members also discussed the failure of RWS officials in completing the Central Protected Water Supply schemes (CPWS) in the district. MLCs Yandavalli Srinivasula Reddy, Vithapu Balasubrahmanyam, SN Padu MLA Adimulapu Suresh, Markapuram MLA Janke Venkatareddy alleged that the RWS officials were deliberately not completing the new CPWS schemes and repairing the existing to make a profit for the contractors who supply water through tankers.

The Zilla Parishad members also passed a resolution to request corporate companies to come forward to provide infrastructure in government schools as part of their CSR activities. Parchur MLA Eluri Sambasivarao, MLCs Yandavalli Srinivasula Reddy, Vithapu Balasubrahmanyam stressed the need for strengthening the government schools and increasing the students strength. They advised the parents to send their children to the government school in the village instead of private school.

The Zilla Parishad general body members felicitated Joint Collector Dr M Hari Jawaharlal and ZP CEO T Bapireddy who were transferred recently to other positions. The officers thanked all of the public representatives, their subordinates and the officials for cooperating with them in delivering the best services.
