YS Jagan should answer people on his support to NDA : Sujay

“On the one hand, Jagan is blaming the Union government for not according special status to AP and BJP is cheating the people of the state. But at the same time, how could he announce that his party would support the candidate of the NDA government,” he questioned.

Interacting with media here on Friday, Ranga Rao said Jagan had no right to demand the Centre Special Category Status and other sops for AP.
“Many times the Union government announced that AP would not be given special status and the state will be supported in other ways. He met the Prime Minister only to protect himself from the cases and on other personal issues.
On the other hand, our Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu is working for the welfare of state tirelessly. The government is striving hard to complete various projects like Amaravati, Polavaram,” he said.
Rejecting the criticism that the TDP was rattled by Jagan’s meeting with the Prime Minister, he said, “We have been part of the NDA government for the past three years. Then why should be bothered about someone meeting the Prime Minister?.
Jagan is demanding that the TDP withdraw two ministers from Union Cabinet as the Centre is not giving Special Status to us but now he is extending his support the NDA in Presidential election.
It is only to confuse the people. Now we are demanding him to reveal his policy in AP and on the NDA government at the Centre,” he said.
