Speaking on the occasion, Amarnath Reddy said that Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu was successful in promoting AP as an industrial friendly state during his recent US tour. Several US-based multinational companies have expressed interest to invest in the state, the Minister said.

He said unemployed youth in the district are getting job opportunities as large scale industries like Hero MotoCorp and Apollo Hospitals have established units. He lauded the efforts of Amara Raja Group founder Galla Ramachandra Naidu and former Minister Galla Aruna Kumari for generating employment to rural youth in the district. The Minister said that the state government is giving approvals for industries in 21 days through single window system.

Ramachandra Naidu explained the objective of establishing the Amara Raja growth corridor in the district. Former Minister Galla Aruna Kumari, ZP Chairperson Girvani Chandra Prakash, District Collector PS Pradyumna, MLA D A Satyaprabha, TDP district president G Srinivasulu and other officials were present. Later, the Minister reviewed the growth of industries with officials concerned at R&B Guest House in Chittoor.
