Vijayawada: Andhra Pradesh Road Transport Corporation Employees Union demanded the management to pay pending dues of Rs 92 crore immediately to RTC Credit Cooperative Society (CCS). In a press release here on Sunday, Employees Union general secretary K Padmakar, deputy general secretaries Y V Rao and Palisetti Damodar said the CCS did not give loans to RTC workers, who were waiting for last two months, as the RTC management had not paid dues to the society.

They said around 5,000 workers were facing problems as the society did not extend loans. RTC did not pay amount to CCS even as it recovers Rs 40 crore every month from employees and the society lost interest of Rs 18 crore on the pending amount of Rs 90 crore, they said.The RTC management promised that it will pay the recovered amount to CCS within the first 10 days of every month and give loans within three days after applying date.
