Focus on redressal of grievances, JC directs officials

Kakinada: East Godavari joint collector A Mallikarjuna directed the officials of various departments to concentrate on timely redressal of petitions received at weekly grievances programme on Monday.
Reviewing the action taken on petitions received from the public at the collectorate on Monday, the joint collector said that people from far off places visit district headquarters every week with hope of getting their problems solved.
The JC directed the officials to respond to the petitions in a time-bound manner. On Monday. Responding to the representation of Adigadla Ramalakshmii of Sanjaynagar in Kakinada, a mother of two blind children for pension to her second child also, Mallikarjuna said that the case will be referred to the government as a special case for sanction of two pensions on one ration card.
