In this connection Andhra Cricket Association (ACA), Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) and Vivo IPL Fan Park organizers arranged press conference at a hotel here on Monday. BCCI former vice-president and Parliament Member (MP) Gokaraju Ganga Raju had given details about the Vivo IPL Fan Park giant screen. He said that for the second time Fan Park arranging huge screen for seeing IPL live match in the city.

Last year it was arranged at Indira Gandhi Municipal Corporation (IGMC) stadium and now it has been arranged at MBP stadium for the benefit of cricket lovers, he added. He expressed his happiness that watching a match on a big screen gives equal thrill as it watching in a ground. Fan Park organizers expected about 15,000 viewers will come to see the match on big screen and the stadium is all set for the live match, he said.

Ganga Raju further said that four of the South India cricketers selected to IPL and two are playing matches. “ACA will plan to develop more cricketers to play not only in IPL but also Indian team” he said. Regarding the international stadiums, Ganga Raju said that second international cricket stadium in AP would come to use in next year which is readying at Mangalagiri in Guntur district. Gallery construction works completed and now ground works have been taken up, he added.

ACA joint secretary V Durga Prasad said that MBP stadium all set for to watch IPL first qualifier live match on a big screen. The gates will open at 5 pm, he said. Face painting, kid’s games and other entertainment programmes will be arranged at the stadium, he added. He urged the cricket lovers to come and see the live match on giant screen and enjoy lot. ACA treasurer KS Rama Chandra Rao, BCCI assistant manager Sumit, ACA media manager CR Mohan and others participated.
