Sports Coaching Foundation promotes sports among Below Poverty Line youth
Hyderabad based Sports Coaching Foundation (SCF) in alliance with Sri Sai Educational Institutions here took up an initiative for the development and promotion of sports among the children of Rayachoti Area. Over 600 children and youth, mostly from Below Poverty Line (BPL) took part in the event. The core idea was to empower the BPL children and youth with life skills through sports.
Rayachoti: Hyderabad based Sports Coaching Foundation (SCF) in alliance with Sri Sai Educational Institutions here took up an initiative for the development and promotion of sports among the children of Rayachoti Area. Over 600 children and youth, mostly from Below Poverty Line (BPL) took part in the event. The core idea was to empower the BPL children and youth with life skills through sports.

The SCF developed basic sports infrastructure. The SCF conducted sports clinics and sports competitions for the children at their vast campus at Rayachoti recently. Competitions were held in track and field, skipping, volleyball, basketball, football, etc. KPV Subbaiah, Chairman of the Sri Sai Educational Institutions, said that they will transform the 15-acre institution campus into one of the best sporting hubs in the country for the BPL children and youth so that they can participate with the elite.
