Kakinada: The AP Congress will hold a public meet on SCS to AP at Bhimavaram in West Godavari on June 4 and AICC vice president Rahul Gandhi will attend the same, said AICC secretary and former Rajya Sabha member, V Hanumantha Rao. Speaking to press persons as part of his visit to East Godavari at Kala Venkata Rao Congress Bhavan on Friday, the veteran Congress leader asked all the congress leaders who left the party in the recent past to come back to the party fold as the party has glorious future ahead in both AP and Telangana.
Turning his attention towards the visit of BJP President Amit Shah to both AP and Telangana the Congress leader said that the BJP president announced financial assistance to the tune of Rs 1.72 lakh crore to AP and Rs 1.20 lakh crore to Telangana , but the local leaders of both the parties deny receipt of assistance to this extent.The Congress leader demanded a detailed reply by BJP over the issue.DCC president Pantam Nanaji, PCC secretaries Matta Prasad, Basava Chadramowli and others were present.
