“We are also planning to issue tokens to avoid unnecessary waiting by these pilgrims. Apart from this, we will also look into the feasibility of introducing access cards in VQC 1 after negotiating with other officers. We are also contemplating to make software modification in advance booking of accommodation soon for the benefit of pilgrims”, he said. Later, appreciating the survey reports by Srivari Sevakulu, the EO said, their services will be utilised in collecting feedback reports from the pilgrims to provide best possible services to pilgrims.
In spite of uninterrupted food, beverages and water distribution, the recent feedback reports obtained from pilgrims waiting in VQC compartments revealed that some devotees complained of not receiving milk for their kids. The EO said the Annaprasadam wing has been continuously serving food and beverages to pilgrims.
Those who could not receive them, have been complaining. To avoid such problems, It has been decided to gather feedback reports from pilgrims during their waiting time in compartments through Sevakulu. The Sevakulu will in turn intimate the same to the officials concerned to sort out the problem immediately, the EO stated.
Apart from this display screens will be erected in all the compartments to showcase the timings of darshan and also the situation report for better information to pilgrims. Similar display screens will also be provided in Alipiri, so that the pilgrims can make up their mind and plan their darshan schedule accordingly, the EO said.
