4,000 gas connections distributed for tribals
Integrated Tribal Development Agency (ITDA) Project Officer A S Dinesh Kumar said a total of 4,000 gas connections were distributed free of cost to those under agency limits.He held a review meeting with tahsildars, Mandal Parishad Development Officers (MPDOs), Girijan Cooperative Corporation (GCC) managers and Oil companies’ dealers at ITDA here on Saturday.

He enquired about various aspects such as progress in distribution of LPG connections under Deepam Scheme. Know Your Customer (KYC) forms data entry, 5 kg and 14.2 kg gas cylinders supply and grounding works being done for mandal wise gas connections distribution. He directed them to complete the distribution of gas connections by June 1.
Tahsildars’ P Ramoji, Suresh Babu, Yarkhan, Chinna Rao, MPDOs B Saraswathi, Bapanna Dora, K Raja Vijaya, Subhashini, K Ramalingeswara Rao, GCC manager Raju, LPG dealer V Durga Prasad and others took part in the meeting.Later, Dinesh Kumar held another review meeting with Tribal Welfare Engineering officers on various developmental works. He warned them of stern action if they show dereliction to their duties.
He asked them to make sure that the funds should not remain unspent. The Project Officer directed them to complete the works in the stipulated time. Tribal Welfare department Executive engineer P K Nageswara Rao, Divisional Engineer Janardhan Rao, assistant engineers, junior engineers and others were present.
