Eluru: Ramu Surya Rao, MLC and Chairman of District Government Headquarters Hospital Development Committee said that a plan is being implemented to make the Eluru government hospital greenery. He planted a sapling in the hospital compound as part of ‘clean and green’ programme on Saturday.

Speaking on the occasion, he said that saplings of medicinal plants and neem trees will also be planted in the hospital compound. “At least 100 neem plants and 1,000 other medicinal plants will also be planted in next two months,” he added. He said that the ‘clean and green’ programme will be continued in the hospital every Saturday to maintain the greenery.

Hospital Development Committee members Jijjuvarapu Prasad, K Veerabhadra Rao, Nagaraju and others participated in the programme.
