Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu nod elusive FOR three years
District Collector P S Pradyumna made a surprise visit to District Cooperative Central Bank (DCCB) here on Sunday and was received by DCCB Chairman A. Rajasekhara Reddy. He visited the new DCCB building which is slated for inauguration by Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu.
Chittoor: District Collector P S Pradyumna made a surprise visit to District Cooperative Central Bank (DCCB) here on Sunday and was received by DCCB Chairman A. Rajasekhara Reddy. He visited the new DCCB building which is slated for inauguration by Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu.
It may be recalled here that DCCB chief met Chief Minister several times requesting for inauguration of the bank new building and the NTR statue . The CM is believed to have conceded to the request of the DCCB chief in respect of inauguration of the bank new building and the NTR statue during his forthcoming visit to the district.

The DCCB president has explained the progress of the bank right from the beginning to the district collector. “With the contributions of the customers and the farmers of the bank, the DCCB new building was constructed with an out lay of Rs.3.0 cr. During the last three years, we have been waiting for the consent of the CM to inaugurate the new building “he apprised. He said the deposits of the bank have gone up to Rs.30 cr. to Rs.350 cr during his tenure of eleven years.
Responding to the appeal of the DCCB Chief A. Rajasekhara Reddy, the District Collector expressed his profound happiness for constructing such a modern bank building with the contributions of farmers and the customers of the bank “ The efforts of the DCCB chief is really praiseworthy in promoting the bank as number one in the state.
The new bank building deserves the inauguration of the CM. It is also a role model to many DCCBs “ he added. He assured that he would exercise his powers for the inauguration of the new bank building by the CM in due course. The District Collector had a review meet with the bank authorities for a little while. He then visited the Ganesh Temple situated in the bank premises where he was given warm reception and blessings of the God Ganesh by the Archakas of the temple.
Speaking to The Hans India , Rajasekhara Reddy said that it was an acid test for him for completing the inauguration of the bank new building . “ We have constructed NTR bronze statue three years ago along with DCCB new building. It is also waiting for the consent of CM for inauguration “ he added.
