Srisailam Project: Jarugu Venkata Murali will assume charge as new Project Officer for the Integrated Tribal Development Agency (ITDA) on Tuesday, replacing M Srinivasa Rao who was transferred to Agriculture department. Murali hails from Nagapatnam of Kadapa district. Earlier, Murali worked as RDO in the district and vigilance officer in Tribal department of Anantapur. Before selected for Group-1 services, he worked as sub-inspector in united Andhra Pradesh. When the Hans India contacted him over the phone he said that he will strive hard for the development of tribals.
