Pay Chandranna Bima without delay: Naidu
Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu instructed the officials to prepare action plan to inform details of Chandranna Bima scheme to public without delay. He asked the officials to pay compensation immediately and provide forms, which were required to apply for insurance under this scheme.Â
Warns officials against taking bribe while disbursing insurance amount
​Amaravati: Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu instructed the officials to prepare action plan to inform details of Chandranna Bima scheme to public without delay. He asked the officials to pay compensation immediately and provide forms, which were required to apply for insurance under this scheme.
Participating in a review meeting with officials at his residence at Undavalli on Wednesday, he directed them to work with service motto to deliver benefits to victims.
He directed the officials to pay Rs 5,000 immediately after demise of insurance holder for funeral expenses and required forms should be handed over to the family members in next two days. He asked the officials to make public all the details of beneficiaries in the website. He warned them that stringent action would be taken, if there was any delay in handing over certificates to the eligible persons.
Sating that majority of the complaints in the scheme cite delay in releasing autopsy reports, the Chief Minister asked the officials to avoid delay. “34,587 claims were received and only 30,000 claims have been cleared,” he noted and instructed the officials to clear all applications by June 30.
“Chandranna Bhima scheme should be included in CM Dash Board,” he said and asked the officials to upload all details on regular basis.
