Kakinada: A 20-year-old girl, Vasamsetty Shanti, died when a flexi board fell on her from atop a building at S R K Buildings Centre here on Friday. The girl, who suffered severe injuries on head, was rushed to Kakinada government hospital where she succumbed to injuries.
According to police, the incident occurred when Shanti, a resident of Indrapalem in Kakinada Rural, was walking on the road. Suddenly, the hoarding from the roof of a double-storyed budding fell on her. Kakinada III Town police are investigating.
