Andhra University Vice-Chancellor greets Vangapandu
Andhra University Vice-Chancellor Prof G Nageswara Rao greeted the guest faculty of Department of Theatre Arts, Andhra University Vangapandu Prasada Rao here on Friday on the occasion of getting the most prestigious Janapada Kalaratna Award from the state government.
Visakhapatnam: Andhra University Vice-Chancellor Prof G Nageswara Rao greeted the guest faculty of Department of Theatre Arts, Andhra University Vangapandu Prasada Rao here on Friday on the occasion of getting the most prestigious Janapada Kalaratna Award from the state government.
The famous folk singer and Vangapandu recently received the award from Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu. At a brief function held, the Vice-Chancellor complimented the noted folk singer for his relentless service to the folk arts. “It’s a proud moment for all especially for the Uttarandhra people for securing the award from the government,” Vangapandu said. He said he is ready to extend his valuable suggestions to the Department of Theatre Arts, Andhra University.
