Tirupati: The five-day Nava Nirmana Deeksha came to an end with Maha Sankalpam at a public meeting here on Thursday. The participants took a pledge administered by Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu through video link from Kakinada reaffirming to work for the all round development of the state.

With no exception, the speakers including, Transport Minister K Atchannaidu, Industries Minister Amarnath Reddy, State SC Corporation chairman Jupudi Prabhakar Rao and others eulogized Chief Minister as a hard worker and a visionary and exuded confidence that he will see the state overcome the financial difficulties it is facing due to bifurcation and steer the state to number one position in the country.

Atchannaidu said that the Chief Minister will succeed in completing ‘Polavaram Dam’ the lifeline of the state by 2018 and added that state bagging 40 national awards in various fields reveal the performance of Chandrababu and his leadership quality helping the state march forward. MP Sivaprasad praised Chandrababu as Bhagiratha working hard for completion of projects and an Abhinava Ambedkar striving for the welfare of weaker sections.

The Ghazal songs by noted singer Srinivas on Nava Nirmana Deeksha added tempo to the meet. Marking the occasion, assets and loans were distributed to the beneficiaries. A beneficiary of Dr Ambedkar Overseas Vidya Nidhi, Satish doing MS in the US spoke over mobile phone thanking the government for providing Rs 10 lakh for his studies in abroad.

Earlier, the dignitaries visited the photo exhibition organised by I and PR department showcasing the Nava Nirmana Deeksha organised in the 14 constituencies in the district.
