Left leaders take out rally in protest
The CPM and CPI leaders took out a rally from Sankar Vilas to Lodge Centre in the city protesting against some miscreants for making a bid to attack CPM general secretary Sitaram Yechury in Delhi on Wednesday. Holding placards, the leaders of both parties raised slogans against RSS and BJP government at the Centre.

Addressing a gathering, CPM district secretary Pasam Rama Rao criticised that attacks on Dalits and minorities are on the rise after the BJP government came to power at the Centre.CPI Guntur district secretary Jangala Ajay Kumar expressed concern over an attempt to attack on Sitaram Yerchury.
He stressed on unity among secular forces to check anti-social activities of communal forces. CPI Guntur city secretary Kota Malyadri, CPM city secretary Bhavannarayana, AITUC leader V Radhakrishna Murthy, Pulipai Ratnam, J Sambasiva Rao were among those participated in the programme.
