It should be recalled that the Assembly staff and police identified conspiracy behind the incident.
Amaravati: The civil engineering department of JNTU inspected the Assembly building in Interim Secretariat at Velagapudi here on Friday. CID chief Dwaraka Tirumala Rao also visited the YS Jaganmohan Reddy’s chamber as part of investigation to find out reasons for water leakage. It should be recalled that the Assembly staff and police identified conspiracy behind the incident.
According to sources, the CID officials identified one person who shot and leaked video of water leakage incident to social media. The Assembly staff informed to CID officials as they saw three persons on roof of building on that day. The officials have started inquiry by taking information from Assembly staff and YSR Congress legislative party office.
An official on condition of anonymity said that the CID would submit report in next couple of days. “We are probing the involvement of person who posted the video of water leakage and his involvement. The CID has been handed over video footage of CC TV cameras by Assembly staff,” he added.
Later, municipal minister P Narayana said people and media have been allowed to visit Secretariat from Friday. “AC pipe was cut by unidentified persons that led to water leakage,” he stated. He took strong objection on false campaign over the quality of Assembly building.
“The quality of building was checked by using technology and well reputed companies have constructed the Secretariat,” he asserted. AP Cabinet will meet on June 15. The ministers have received information on this front.
The ministers should submit their proposals a day in advance. The Cabinet also will discuss the water leakage issue and campaign of Opposition party over quality of Assembly building.
