Nirbhaya Act against minor’s kidnapper
DGP N Sambasiva Rao said that they will register a case against Nageshwara Rao, ex-BSF jawan, who kidnapped the minor girl in Bhattiprolu of Guntur district on April 21 and shifted her to Samba Sector of Jammu and Kashmir, under the 376 (N) of IPC and Nirbhaya Act and POCSO Act to punish the accused.
Guntur: DGP N Sambasiva Rao said that they will register a case against Nageshwara Rao, ex-BSF jawan, who kidnapped the minor girl in Bhattiprolu of Guntur district on April 21 and shifted her to Samba Sector of Jammu and Kashmir, under the 376 (N) of IPC and Nirbhaya Act and POCSO Act to punish the accused.
Addressing a press conference here on Friday, the DGP said with the consent also taking away the minor girl is a serious crime. He further stated that there are 16 minor girls missing cases were registered in Bapatla police division and CID is investigating the case. Andhra Pradesh Mahila Commission Chairperson Nannapaneni Rajakumari said that Mahila Commission will create awareness among parents necessity to keep watch on movement of minor girls. She thanked the police for solving the kidnap case.
