Revenue Recovery Act against errant CMR millers

Joint Collector A. Md. Imtiaz warned that they would recover dues from the millers who undertook custom milling of rice (CMR). He reviewed with the officials of civil supplies wing and tahsildars at his chamber on Friday and said they would impose Revenue Recovery Act for getting the dues from errant millers.

He reviewed with the officials of civil supplies wing and tahsildars at his chamber on Friday and said they would impose Revenue Recovery Act for getting the dues from errant millers.
He said they had supplied rice from the paddy purchasing centres directly to the millers for the custom milling and the millers had not returned the milled rice even after one year. He directed the civil supplies officials and tahsildars to give notices to such defiant millers.
