Modi Fest a lacklustre show
The Modi Fest organized by the BJP to celebrate the completion of three year rule of NDA government and propagate the achievements and welfare schemes was a lacklustre show as it failed to draw the attention of the public for whom it was intended.
Tirupati: The Modi Fest organized by the BJP to celebrate the completion of three year rule of NDA government and propagate the achievements and welfare schemes was a lacklustre show as it failed to draw the attention of the public for whom it was intended.
It was attended by the Union Minister of State for Power, Coal and Renewable Energy Piyush Goyal on Friday. He inaugurated an exhibition also on the occasion which was intended to continue for three days.The BJP central leadership planned and organized Modi Fest at several parts of the Country to create awareness among people about the 106 welfare schemes initiated by the Narendra Modi government of which only 50 to 60 per cent have reached the people of all sections.
Piyush Goyal also underlined that they were working with the objective of taking the welfare schemes to the bottom line of the society. Their mobile van has toured various parts of the city on the purpose. The party was saying that it has over 2000 booth committees already and many more are to be formed.
It has more than 3 lakh members in the district. Still the leaders could not ensure a decent number of audiences for its prestigious event.Even one third of its booth committee members in the district have not attended the event which made the event lifeless. There were more number of leaders present than the cadre.
