Eluru: CPI national Secretary K Narayana alleged that the NDA government led by Narendra Modi has demonetised the big currency to divert the people’s eye from the anti-people policies.

Addressing media at Sphurti Bhavan, here on Saturday, no black money was traced out after demonetisation, fake currency racket did not stop and the terror money also did not come out. “The demonetization has benefited the corporate forces to change their black money into white,” he charged.

He stated that the cashless transactions were benefitting to Paytm like organisations by deducting 2 per cent service tax. He pointed out that the BJP has announced that after the scrapping of big notes, about 5 lakh crore black money and 4 lakh crore fake currency will be come out. “What happened to this money”, he questioned.

Reacting on the Cow Protection Act, the CPI National leader said that it was none other than oppressing the food security of the people. “It is also an attack on the civil rights,” he noted and questioned the Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu for maintaining silence.

He alleged that in the BJP regime, attacks on Dalits and minorities were on rise and added that left parties would take up agitations against Centre and state governments.
