Vijayawada: Disputes between the husband and wife led to the suspicious death of a physiotherapist. However, the parents and relatives of the victims are alleging that she was murdered by husband and it was not a suicide.

The victim Sushma died under mysterious circumstances at her residence at Ashok Nagar on June 7. She was found hanging from the ceiling fan. Her husband, Sunkara Suneel, who slept in the other room, found the body of the wife and informed the family members about the death of Sushma.

Two days after the death, the mother and brother of Sushma on Saturday alleged that her husband had murdered due to disputes between the couple. They also alleged that Suneel had been harassing her for money for the past three years. Sushma did her physiotherapy course in Hyderabad and fell in love with one Sunkara Sunil who runs a Canteen at Apollo College in Hyderabad.

Sushma’s parents did not accept marriage with Sunil. Later, they married against the wish of the family members and been living at Ashok Nagar in Vijayawada. The couple blessed with a daughter seven years ago.In the meantime, Suneel had started harassing wife for want of money.

Sushma’s mother alleged that he has no job and that led to disputes between the couple. Incidentally, she was preparing for the PG examinations while doing the job. As part of the PG entrance examination, she went to Guntur on June 7 and came back home. The very next day, she was found dead hanging. Patamata police registered a case and picked up Sunil for interrogation.
