Union Civil Aviation Minister Ashok Gajapathi Raju responded to the reports of his intervention in the Anantapur MP JC Diwakar Reddy's row at the Visakhapatnam Airport.

Taking to Twitter, Ashok Gajapathi Raju condemned the reports and clarified that he had not intervened in the issue in any way.

Following the reports of TDP MP JC Diwakar Reddy creating a huge ruckus at the airport for not being allowed a boarding pass after arriving 20 minutes late, media reports suggested that the Union Minister had intervened and taken the MP's side since he is from the same party.

However, the Minister clarified his stand and assured that he would probe into the entire incident, find out the exact details and follow it up with the lawful action.

Incidentally, Air India that is under the Union Civil Aviation Ministry is the first Airlines after IndiGo to ban the TDP MP from future flights which has now been followed by the other airlines.
