Complete land acquisition & distribution in Agency by July 1

East Godavari District Collector Karthikeya Mishra asked the mandal revenue officers in the Agency area to complete the process of land acquisition for Polavaram Project and distribution of lands to the tribals whose lands have been acquired for the project by July 1. The officials have also been asked to pass awards in villages on completion of the land distribution.

The Collector conducted a review meeting on Polavaram land acquisition works. He discussed about tribals whose lands are going to get submerged under the Project and those tribal lands which do not fall under the project.
