Meghana to lead KDCA women’s team
International woman cricketer and city girl S Meghana will lead the Krishna district cricket team in Inter -District Women’s Cricket Tournament of Andhra Cricket Association (ACA) Central Zone. Another international woman player R Kalpana will act as vice-captain in ACA Central Zone matches.

The KDCA conducted selection trials for senior women, under-16 and under-19 girl teams at the Indira Gandhi Municipal Corporation (IGMC) Stadium in the city on Saturday. The KDCA team selections evoked good response from girl cricketers, said KDCA secretary A Yella Rao.
He further stated that M Bhavana will lead both under-16 and under-19 teams in the Central Zone matches.
