Web counselling in Adikavi Nannaya University ended on Sunday with good response for the counselling conducted on the university campus for three days. Counselling was conducted in humanities, social sciences, English and Telugu courses on Sunday. Vice-chancellor of the university Murru Mutyala Naidu visited the counselling centre on this occasion.
Spot counselling from June 20 to 22
Rajamahendravaram: Web counselling in Adikavi Nannaya University ended on Sunday with good response for the counselling conducted on the university campus for three days. Counselling was conducted in humanities, social sciences, English and Telugu courses on Sunday. Vice-chancellor of the university Murru Mutyala Naidu visited the counselling centre on this occasion.
Speaking here on Sunday, Prof Mutyala Naidu said that seats had been allotted for the students in the courses concerned depending upon ranks and all the eligible students had got the best allotments. He informed that classes will begin in all the affiliated colleges of the university in twin Godavari districts from Monday.
He called upon students who secured seats in the web counselling to attend classes in their chosen colleges. The VC said that spot counselling will be conducted in the university campus as well as in all the affiliated colleges in the courses concerned from June 20 to June 22 and candidates who failed to get seats in all three counseling sessions can attend spot counselling in the colleges where the seats are vacant.
Prof Mutyala Naidu said that the details of seat allotments and vacancies in colleges in the university limits are being placed in the university website from time to time. He told the students to attend spot counselling by carrying original certificates and photographs along with them and also suggested them to visit websites www.aknudoa.in or www.nannayauniversity.info to get the information about vacant seats. He congratulated admissions department for conducting university admissions in an efficient manner.
Director of admissions Dr A Matta Reddy, assistant directors (admissions) Dr K.V Swamy and Hemavathi, academic dean S Teki, executive council member P Vijaya Nirmala and principal K Subba Rao were present on the occasion.
