AP CM meets foreign entrepreneurs

​Tirupati: Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu met a group of entrepreneurs from China, Japan, Taiwan and Malaysia at the inauguration of the Celkon Impex production near Renigunta airport on Thursday.

Before formally launching the production of the mobile phone Naidu went round the sprawling factory during which he interacted with the women workers. He was elated to see the women mostly from the rural Yerpedu, Renigunta areas and also some from the city of Tirupati with only SSC and Intermediate education getting employment in the cell phone company after training.

According to official sources Naidu also found time to talk to the entrepreneurs engaged in electronic manufacturing from the four countries who were present at the inauguration and explained the facilities being available in Andhra Pradesh and the support provided by the government to promote industries.

Naidu explained them about the tri-industrial city area between Krishnapatanam-Chennai and Tirupati, Sri City, the special economic zone where many foreign companies were already based and also another SEZ coming up in Yerpedu area near international airport, well connected with Chennai and Bengaluru cities.
