Nine lakh jobs in Micro Small Medium Enterprises units: Minister
On the eve of UNO declaring June 27 as International MSME (Micro Small Medium Enterprises) day, a seminar would be held at Vijayawada. Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu would preside over the event said N Amaranatha Reddy, Industries Minister. Industrialists from throughout the country, delegates from World Bank and prominent personalities would take part in it he added.

Addressing a press conference held at Puthalapattu mandal, 18 Km from Chittoor on Sunday, the Minister enlisted the planning and programmes of the government for strengthening the industrial front in the state. The Minister made it clear that the potential for generating employment opportunities would be more in MSME when compared Agriculture sector.
“In view of the growing importance for industrial sector, Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has decided to boost the MSME. On the eve of organising International MSME Day at Vijayawada, the CM would announce the policy of the government and enter into MoUs also with companies,’’ he declared.
