Farmer commits suicide in Kurnool, second in two days

A farmer committed suicide by consuming pesticide in Kurnool district on Wednesday. The farmer, Ramachandrudu hailing from Gollaveedhi of Kodumuru mandal, was burdened with debts which eventually led him to take the extreme step of ending his life.

This is the second incident that has taken place in Kurnool district within a time span of two days. A farmer named Ramanjaneyulu also committed suicide due to debts. The drought conditions in the district are leading the farmers to take up debts since their products are yeilding no remuneration which eventually is resulting in them taking their lives.
